Raghav_12 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I have voted for settle for a drwan series. But don't think team would be taking one of these approaches exclusively. I think, initially they will be just looking to play out first session. Don't take any additional risk. Play sensibly but keep putting bad balls for boundries. They'll redefine their strategy if they can reach to lunch without any major damage and then would expect batsmen to be a bit more free flowing. And if things are in good shape by tea time they may go for broke. There will not be single strategy that team would be following all through the day. They'll keep assessing situation all the time and based on that they'll see if they should try to chase down the total or settle for draw. In my opinion I'll be satisfied. Of course I won't mind winning but not very realistic hope.
