Tuk-Tuk, Tuk-Tuk: Thats his mode now. He is not really a "Power Player" and he is made out to be one. This maybe an unpopular statement but: I dont think C$K should have retained M$D. People may think "captaincy" blah - but frankly CSK can get a better wicketkeeper batsman (even International player if need be like ABDV or Dilshan). Dhoni just wastes a batting spot in the T20 side. And captaincy factor - please we can always find some other captain for CSK. Agreed with cbf - Pls. do not play International T20 M$D - we can tolerate if needed in C$K

As a matter of fact, he will probably do the same Tuk-Tuk there too, and some brilliant captaincy like sending the Sri Lankan Pappugedera over Badri or rookie R.Ashwin for Superover when Muralitharan or a pacer could be sent :haha:

There are hardly any T2OIs being played by India anyways if the main concern is fitness/rest.

Dhoni is a sachin or a gambhir mold player with regards to constructing an LOI innings. T20 just doesnt provide time for that. Plus if he quits t20s, if would get some rest inbetween series'.... But make no mistake, he is a dhaakad player in t20s too on his day.

Which form of cricket you are talking abt? He is still indias most indispensable player in ODIs, plays according to the situation and best finisher ofcourse.

Its not like Dhoni can't hit. The way he took apart the KXIP bowlers in that decisive IPL match showed he can still do it with ease. I dont understand why he tries to consolidate or look for singles, even in end overs, and that too in a T20 match.
