Think it's pretty obvious Kohli is head and shoulders above any competition amongst the youngsters - in fact good enough to be in the same class as world class batsmen from any country. Rohit has huge temperamental issues, Raina has huge technical issues and Vijay has both.

This series has been brilliant for our team. As the ultimate trial of our young talent and there pretensions to be in test team. The result of this series does not matter as it is test to batters in facing top quality bowlers in tough conditions has been invaluable. A tours are a complete waste of time in seeing what our players are like and wether ready for test spots in comparison to this odi series! This series has shown and proved one thing. KOHLI IS THE REAL DEAL. He must start in next test match and play in every team India fields in all formats. He is a superstar in the making. Tough as they come, temperemantly solid and technically sound to face all types of bowlers in all types of conditions. For Raina and Sharma its a case of going away and working hard, flaws have been exposed. I believe Sharma will come back one day to be a test match player, as lets face it very hard conditions and bowlers to make a come back to team. My only regret is that Pujara was not played in this series. As would have been great to see if he was the real deal as well. Dont believe in all this rubbish of keeping him away from odis and saving him for tests so not to be spoilt. We do the intelligence of our players a disservice. Yes 20/20 slogging may not be ideal. But odis are about builiding innings and are great indications of test quality. If Pujara had played this series we would have leanrt loads about him and also he would have learnt loads about his own game and what work he needs to do.
