vaibhav_delhi Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 And who to replace with? We do not have any Young Anil Kumble, SCG, RSD to take on the Mantle. Who do you or others who think MSD should be sacked think him to be Replaced with? I do not think Gambo has it in him to lead the side. Virat is a Potential Leader, But he is too Young ATM. P.S :I know You are one of the MSD Fanatics :icflove: So what gambo n sehwag are not there and kohli is young?? I want this piece of sh1t removed in the next match. noone else could be worse. How abt having the lastest pace sensation munaf patel as captain??
dr_tooley Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 So Dhoni has picked HIS team (Chawla, Ashwin, Nehra, No Irfan Pathan, No Rohit Sharma, and no back up wicket keeper). He must take full responsibility. Death or Glory. If he wins he will enter folklore, if not he will have to resign. The die is cast.

Zero_Unit Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 +++ :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: As for the thread MSD is still the best bet for us but he has turned too defensive in recent times .. some of his decisions are very awkward ... the daring Dhoni has turned into a timid Dhoni especially in ODIs and that is not the best sight to see.. his team selection has also been a major concern for a long time.. but as I said earlier he is still our best bet though he is gradually losing the killer instinct and calculated risk he was known for when he started Well I for one am not surprised that his tactic is getting screwed over. I mean captaning INDIA must be the hardest job since some uncivilised FANS go overkill with little losses. If i recall in the last WC where they went all out at his house ...
dr_tooley Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 Well I for one am not surprised that his tactic is getting screwed over. I mean captaning INDIA must be the hardest job since some uncivilised FANS go overkill with little losses. If i recall in the last WC where they went all out at his house ... Achieving NOTHING in two consecutive WCT20 and a Champion Trophy are not little failures. Specifically I lay the failure in 2009 WCT20 directly at his feet. His attempt to manoeuvre Sehwag out of the team cost us that tournament. I agree that strong leader need to be able to make difficult decisions. However, the criticism I would make of Dhoni is that too many of this decisions certainly in relation to player selection are related to personal anomosity (e.g. Ganguly, Sehwag, Amit Mishra). However if this ad hominem approach is success, I will be quiet. But if this leads to us losing our best chance to win the World Cup in 20 years, he will have to go.
