For the song list, create a list on itunes and then when you sync, you will have it on your I-pad and it wont erase
Mariyam Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Many thanks, my two cents :musicman: I'll try that.
vayuu1 Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 oh bhaiyo meri problem b to solve karo.
Holysmoke Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 are you connecting by dhcp? make sure you are. If it still does not work, reset your ipad settings.. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings If it STILL does not work, then add your ISP dns servers to your network details manually but leave the IP to be assigned by DHCP.
vayuu1 Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 can u explain in a simpler way please dhcp is enabled ,isp i dunno.
Late Cut Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Relatedly, do i need a 110/220 adapter to charge my Ipad in India?
Holysmoke Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Relatedly' date=' do i need a 110/220 adapter to charge my Ipad in India?[/quote'] you need a round pin to flat pin converter (if you dont have the multi-socket) You dont need an adapter. (Apple chargers work on 110 as well as 220)
Holysmoke Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 can u explain in a simpler way please dhcp is enabled ' date='isp i dunno.[/quote'] find your ISP's dns servers and feed them manually into your ipad or use google dns...

I want to change the order of a few songs. Do I have to sync it or do I have to delete this list and re-do the entire thing? Nothing seems to work.

Thanks Holysmoke; your advice is much appreciated!
coffee_rules Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I would log in to the router through the laptop (routers have a standard address) and check the logs on the router to see any thing failed in DHCP to assign the ipad an ipaddress. The ISP dns servers are maintained in the router, you should not be using it in the clients (ipda or laptop). They route all packets to the gateway (router), so it could be that the wifi secure access authentication failed. Check if your router supports 802.11g. I just had to use the same router wifi authentication password on my iphone4 and it connects to my wifi router fine. ipad should have the same ios4.x OS too.
