Warner Bros has discontinued production of the Two and a Half Men sitcom, citing the behaviour and remarks of series star Charlie Sheen. "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season," said the statement. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the move comes after Sheen ranted about the show's creator Chuck Lorre in a radio podcast. Advertisement: Story continues below Speaking to the Alex Jones Show, Sheen said of Lorre: "I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that this un-evolved mind cannot process. I've spent, I think, close to the last decade I don't know effortlessly and magically converted your tin can into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write." The show was already temporarily on hold due to Sheen being hospitalised in January. The troubled actor entered hospital complaining of stomach pains brought about by a drug and alcohol fuelled bender and he checked into rehab soon after. However the star was unrepentant about his behaviour, saying publicly that he had no intention of changing his ways. It seems there is no love lost between the pair, with Lorre calling Sheen a 'degenerate' in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter. Two and Half Men is one of the most popular sitcoms on television in the US and Australia and Sheen is one of the highest paid TV actors. :((

Charlie Sheen is an arrogant so-n-so. I remember Colbert and Stewart pulling a comic act on stage once n Sheen gave a dumbo grin like "Is that funny?" Sheen, you piece of trash :yousuck:

Never liked the show but this show is a ratings gold. While superior sitcoms like arrested development get canceled or in case of community, limp from one season to the next, this show and another chuck lorre's badly written show, big bang theory, became the most watched show on TV. Sheen was offered mega millions earlier for more seasons of this show. Since this show is a gold pit, it will probably be brought back once all the fights die down. But then Sheen has already made his millions and chuck lorre has 2 more shows on CBS right now. They both might just give up and not reconcile at all.

err........the show has only been canceled for the season. Not forever. They probably want Charlie to get over himself and stay in rehab for more then 5mins, before continuing shooting the show only to stop it again cuz of Charlie's lifestyle/

didn't Sheen get paid like 250-300k per episode? I think too much money or too less money fks with one's brain and it's very important to find that right limit of earning wealth.
