Jersey #10 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 lmao...this forum is soooo biased...all the indian ppl are actually condemning afridi for this achievement... doesn't matter though..hes still performing right He has been performing excellently for past couple of years now but not good enough for the Elite club. IMO, Elite club would consist of the likes of Warn, Muralitharan, Kumble, Qadir etc. Afridi is far from this club just yet.
pakexpress Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Bowling on Premadasa under lights is easier than sleeping IMO. It's more so because the batting conditions are ridiculously bad compared to the first innings. It's a sham that SL managed to close in with a gap of 11 runs only. It should have been quite a huge win considering Pakistan won the toss at this ground in an D/N match. I still don't rank Pakistan as a strong contender for the WC. ok... sorry to hear that we are not in your ranking...but honestly i personaly like it that way...
PakSwinger Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Ojha bowled very well against SL in one of the match at Premadasa. http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/386532.html Bowlers have their day..tendulkar once took a 5 wicket haul...but u will not give him a bowl in a WC match..however afridi was PAK's highest wicket taker last year...and he had looked good today too....your illogical way of countering every argument ....by pointing to one specific moment is STUPID... have a good day

As i said he is like Mitchell Johnson. Nobody can understand how they take wickets.
Bradman99 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Mitch Johson in India is lethal. I think he is 1 wicket away from being the leading foreign wicket taker ever there, and averages just 19.

Suddenly he picks up a wicket. Lee bowled fantastically yet he got just 1 wicket.
Cricketics Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Deserves all the applauds he is getting these days. Has been a match winner for them and an intergral part of their odi unit. Well done to him
Roshanrocks Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 This is not the most elite club :headshake: scoring 17,000 runs, taking 150 wickets , taking 125+ catches, hitting 45+ 100's, 90+ 50's Now this is what i call the most elite club  consisting of only 1 member.
Gotham Cronie Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 lmao...this forum is soooo biased...all the indian ppl are actually condemning afridi for this achievement... doesn't matter though..hes still performing right What do you mean all the indian ppl? Read the thread again. There are people congratulating him too.
ZodiaC Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 He's an overrated slogger but is a good limited overs leggie. Though that doesn't mean he's in the 'most elite club'. The guy has played 300= odis to get to this milestone, which is hardly phenomenal.
Roshanrocks Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 ^ the pic was taken at the right moment :hysterical:
