Sir_Afridi Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 :hatsoff: Only 2nd player after Jayasuriya to take 300 ODI wickets & 6000 runs :yay:
DomainK Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 How he does his best to look like a beast in his celebrations.
The Outsider Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 The most elite club is of 15000+ runs, 150+ wicket, and 100+ catches with one member. Please let us know when anyone even gets close to it. kthxbai.
Zelig Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Good job, Afridi  Don't worry about the haterz, you keep rockin' man :beee:
Sachinism Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Even though I hate the guy for all his antics, this is a fantastic achievement. :congrats:
Pak_Forever Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 No wonder the term beast fits him so well. His rage in pictures is terrifying. Suits him well :--D
Clarke Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Good all round achievement. Can we PLEASE not have any more extra large pics :wall:
Sir john Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 300 match , 6000 runs 300 wickets :hmmm: is this a big achievement?
Sachin=GOD Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Although IMO he's an over hyped cricketer, I must say that off-late his bowling has improved quite a lot and this is a fantastic achievement. :congrats:
Temujin Khaghan Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 well done afridi... young man only 30, still has a lot of future ahead of him.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 No wonder the term beast fits him so well. His rage in pictures is terrifying. Suits him well :--D Yup. He roared like a lion after taking Tharanga's catch. The similarities were striking to say the least:two_thumbs_up: Congrats to "The Beast" who is more commonly known as Afretard on ICF. What an achievement and what a cricketer!:hatsoff:
theanalyst Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 As an outsider, I've never understood Pakistan's fascination with Afridi. This was the case even when the team had some fine players.

theanalyst Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Welcome to the forum man. Best of luck for tomorrow's game. Thanks! It looks like a pretty neat forum. Should be an epic game. Not too hopeful given our abysmal record in India but you never know!

Law of averages may catch up and you may win tomorrow. But have to admit, this is the best English team i have seen in last 25 years.

But have to admit' date=' this is the best English team i have seen in last 25 years.[/quote'] It is one of the better sides in recent years but that isn't saying a lot. We were rubbish in the 90s. I'm also glad that we're taking limited overs cricket seriously. We embarrassed ourselves in the last 4 World Cups. We have the habit of making changes right before a WC. I thought that it would be different this time but sadly it isn't. Still hopeful of a semi-final place. I'm very confident with the test side. A very settled team and some fine young players coming through as well like Taylor. Really looking forward to the summer.
