The Outsider Posted March 2, 2011 Author Posted March 2, 2011 Since a lot of people are having trouble comprehending what to write, I'll list some of the posters who have been banned over the last few days as an example of what NOT to write : 1. Computer Angel, Sir_Afridi - Troll jobs and provoking comments 2. seedhi, Shakthi - Racists 3. satyam1729 - Internet flame warrior If you don't follow the example of the above posters, you are doing okay.
Utalk Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Lol Satyam and Seedhi :hahaha: [ame= - Attaullah - Saif-Ul-Malook Dushmun Merhay Tay[/ame]
vaibhav_delhi Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Lol Satyam and Seedhi :hahaha: have read a few posts from seedhi. seems like a good poster actually, backs his views with proper reasoning. But yeah, can imagine the pain-points of moderating icf:D.
Clarke Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Vast majority branding Pakistanis cheats. Generalization, not very fair but happens everywhere. What about the support their cheats time and again ? Look around, which player do they worship in the lala-land ? Frequent use of the word haramzada(b@st@rd) to describe Afridi. Use of an offensive racial slur(p@ki).If its not considered an offensive word here then dont let people from UK register here. For eff's sake, the admins made it clear its not used as a racist slur. What you're intending for is shoving your list of offensive words down the throat of thousands of members here. The onus is on you to accept the limited standards of free speech we have here and not force your opinion on others.

Not gonna call them Paks, coz I know what Pak means and they are certainly not that. So, Paki is what its gonna be.
The Outsider Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Paki is not an offensive/racial word on this site. It has very limited racist connotations to he considered racist.
The Outsider Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Please PM me if you have any concerns about any bans. I've left the thread open for any helpful suggestions.
The Outsider Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 shrapnel joins the select band for flaming. Few others are very close as well.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 @ The Outsider What is your stance on Afridi being called names? Would you mind if I report all such posts in the future?
The Outsider Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 @ The Outsider What is your stance on Afridi being called names? Would you mind if I report all such posts in the future? shrapnel wasn't banned for calling Dhoni as Dhobi - though not ideal, but other posters do that as well. He has been banned for flaming and inciting, something he has been doing regularly for the last few days.
Watson87 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Satyam yeah totally agree Outsider paaji, respect mods paajis or else banned for life Respect :icflove:
bihutoli Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 lol! The WC on. What a time to get banned! How long is the ban in effect for though?
CSK Fan Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Just adding to the thread, we need more posters from other nations. there is no fun without rivalry and harmless banter. But whenever a new poster comes here, he is attacked so much that very few stay. Even the very balanced posters like Cricket_Guru think twice before voicing their opinions because they are attacked so much

Even the very balanced posters like Cricket_Guru think twice before voicing their opinions because they are attacked so much[/quote'] :dito: If we start making meaningless taunts on citizens and players of other countries, they simply will stop commenting, and only trolls will come who will make few provocative comments and run away. Its not at all fun unless you have both sides of the viewpoint, or we are just stuck here recycling the same message over and over again. Argue to death if you guys want to, but atleast maintain civility. :icflove::two_thumbs_up:
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 ^ Chalo at least you guys understand the importance of such a thing. Just last night I was "advised" by a senior ICF member to pack my bag and efff off to the padosi forum. Apparently he wanted ICF to be an Indian only forum
Clarke Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=262436 fix the above thread please, the neighbors are in full flow for some reason.
sachin420 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 ++ Pakistani is just too long. Not gonna call them Paks, coz I know what Pak means and they are certainly not that. So, Paki is what its gonna be. It is paki and it will remain like this even they like it or not:two_thumbs_up:
