Dhoni's unique record - Interesting coincidence One of my colleagues gave me an interesting piece of info. Whenever Dhoni's team (any team captained by him - domestic or international) play in a tournament and one of the games results in a tie, he has gone on to win the cup. 1) WorldT20 - 2007 (Ind vs Pak - league game ended as a tie - India won the points in a tie breaker) 2) IPL 2010 - CSK vs KXIPunjab ended in tie - Punjab won the points. Dhoni won the cup 3) Champions league 2010 - CSK vs SAF domestic team (dont recall the name) - match tied, SA team won the points , Dhoni won the cup 4) WC 2011 - Ind vs Eng. Match tied. England walked with the plaudits..India Won the Cup
