Pakistan's attack doesnt look that great IMO. They have a burnt out Akhtar, a slow medium pace Razzaq, out of form Gul, part timer Hafeez. Afridi looks to be the only one bowling well. Sri Lanka's bowling looks a lot better after the return of Malinga.

singhprakash72 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I think it all comes down to how well the bowling team takes the pressure.. theoretically Piyush C should had a cake over the tailenders but he was too nervous for first few balls...same can be said of Malinga ...if his yorker works in death overs when a quality opposition is cruising away ?? ..yet to be seen in this WC (in WC2007 he did) ...it will be great for SL. On a scale I would put bowling strength of WC teams as 1st SA then AUS-SL then PAK-ENG-IND then NZ ...but on any day this can be reversed because playing condition.

Certain teams do well against certain teams. When two subcontinent teams are up against each other it is going to be down to who makes less mistakes on a given day. They all know each others strengths like back of their palm.
