Cricketics Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Right now 2 players in contenders list Ab de villers and Shahid Afridi Indian hsan't played it's third match yet, most likely our batsmans would be the one if there would be some. So far all of Sachin, Sehwag and Kohli have centuries.
Cricket_Guru Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 afridi will have it. finishing with 34 wickets in the tournament, and 358 runs with one century in the final :hatsoff: all hail the 'Afridi' :--D
mahesh_g Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 once Pakis start playing againist good team, this afridi will go back to his normal bowling. He is a minnow basher.

King Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 It's a long tourney, too early to predict the MVP. I guess there will be some more strong performances emerging in the next few days.
Cricket_Guru Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 once Pakis start playing againist good team' date=' this afridi will go back to his normal bowling. He is a minnow basher.[/quote'] and sri lanka was minow on saturday gone by :antijinx:
2k11 prod Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 not tryna be funny but if pakis can make it far in this tourney afridi has a chance thanks to him being an 'all rounder' but amla is a very strong candidate.
Bradman99 Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 If Pakistan make the final then maybe Afridi, but I have my doubts over Pakistan's batting.. I'd say the most likely contenders would be Afridi, Tendulkar, Sehwag, De Villiers, Amla, Johnson, Watson.. they are my favourites anyway
Zero_Unit Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Most likely Afridi if not then Devellier if he scores like this through out the tournament.
achilles Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Afridi seems to be running away with it. All he needs now is a big inning with the bat under his belt. PS- No innuendo's please.
Jersey #10 Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 It's Sachin ...no two ways about it 893 runs, nuff said
girishk14 Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Sehwag, AB De Villers, Sangakarra or Imran Tahir (Hez been doing a lot even against good teams)
ganeshran Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 afridi will have it. finishing with 34 wickets in the tournament, and 358 runs with one century in the final :hatsoff: all hail the 'Afridi' :--D dude we are talking about his performance in this world cup, not in all the cups put together. :giggle:
