What about West Indies. Man these guys look dangerous. We have never done that well against Windies. Whole ninites and the last decade, I remember even when windies was down and out when walsh and Ambrose weren't availble for the windies team, Windies used to surprise us all the time. It's good we have won the biggest game against them in 1983, but I think our game against them will be very exciting. They lost TO South Africa easily early in the group, but i think they have improved all of a sudden. Roach after that hattrick looks a lot better. From the talks, it looks like Not many team want to face them in quaters. Most of the pakistani folks I met were worried about facing windies. I agree. This windies team is looking unpredictable and dangerous. It's good for world cup.

Windies & Pakistan are going to the surprise elements of this cup. Windies had a great game against Bangladesh, but to convert those performances against the likes of India which are far superior sides is going to require a bit more momentum.

WI is the team that scare me the most... As a paki fan, i wouldn't want to face them in knockout...just like pakistan team, you dont know which WI team will show up...there is no method to their madness..

WI & Pak are definately the wildcards. Then you have your Eng & NZ who can pull off a surprise or 2 but aren't playing particularly well.. In the other category is the favourites in Aus, Ind, SA and Sri.. That's the way I see it anyway.

They need another good bowler, to be able to bowl good sides out. What happened to Jerome Taylor and Fidel Edwards? Are they injured? We tour WI soon and an attack of Roach, Taylor, Edwards, Benn will be pretty troubelsome. With Bharath back and Darren Bravo looking like a good talent, it is promising for WI.

Jerome might be back soon. Can't say the same about Fidel, unfortunately.
