They should have tried him in one of the less significant games. Taking chances in big games is a big risk - but maybe worth the risk if all other options are tried out.

Doubt he will get a game. Our bowlers have so far done decently well, apart from NZ match. Tylor just played once in a life time inning, there won't be such a repeat atleast in this tournament. I will stick with Gul, Akthar, Razzaq and would like to add one more Wahab.

bouncers? which game were you watching? I think you missed our bowlers playing base-ball with their dead straight pitching :haha: It was a one off performance, there won't be such a repeat , and it was only during the last 5 overs, for 44-45 overs they bowled pretty well.

Paksitan dont have much trust on him and dont want to use him at all? 2. Pakistan want to keep him un-exposed in group stage and want to use him as a secret weapon directly in QF. By the way his first class stats are quite impressive and an interesting fact, they are very much similar to Muhammad Aamer's. I think Aamir's/Aamer's (actually don't know which is the correct spelling) stats are diluted by his test figures. Apparently he averaged something ridiculous like 17 in domestic 4 dayers. He is a huge miss to Pakistan, i think he would have gone on to challenge Steyn to become the best bowler in the world and may have even had the potential to overtake him. I went on the Pak Passion forum after his and the others suspension was handed out. A lot of them thought that Asif was the greater loss of the 2 bowlers. I did not agree with this as Aamir was so brilliant for his age.

A rank outsider replacing one of the established seniors in the middle of the WC and being used as a secret weapon. Sounds very far fetched. Doesn't it? How much of an improvement is he over Akhtar? Don't you think your 'secret weapons' should be some stable opening batsmen and not another bowler. Your bowling is doing fine at the moment. If it ain't broke....
