why too many accumlaters in the team

folks i have been noticing one thing with our team and one thing which was even mentioned by r.s ,what i feel and what he said was that india is playing with too many accumlaters ,he said that ideally a team shud have 2 explosive opening batsman ,of which one is capable of shifting gears acc. To situation 2 guys who can hold innings and 3 power hitters who can change the game at the end. In india's case i think we are playing with 3 guys who are ticking the scoreboard buj not with impact and these are gauti,kohli and dhoni, i feel one from gauti and kohli has to make way for raina , what do u guys think, Discuss.

Today's problem was the so called "power hitters".. everyone :fail: What change the game.. they didn't have to change anything. 267 for 1.. you walk in.. just score atleast 6 or 7 runs for 9 overs.. Is it too much to ask?

today's problem was not the power hitter ,it was sending the wrong guy at that time, i feel as soon as gauti got out dhoni should have sent yuvi instead of pathan, pathan should be unleashed in the last 4-5 overs.

Problem that raina is the only batsman who can start hitting straight away..Others take time..Its not batsmen fault. They wanted score over 350 to defend. any other bowling could have defend 296 otherwise. team has no confidence in bowlers

Again, if our batsmen shouldn't aim for 375 score...just play normally...they are natural stroke makers...they will get the odd boundary by playing to their strength...shouldn't go for anything out of their character unless it is so needed.

We need this team in the following order to win the wc: Sehwag Sachin Gambhir Dhoni Yuvraj Raina Yusuf Harbhajan Ashwin Zaheer Nehra Dhoni can do what Kohli is doing up there.

We need one good finisher in form - Pathan is not reliable enough, Dhoni is no longer the batsman he was a few years ago and Yuvi, although making a few runs, is yet to hit prime form, we just have to try our only finisher left - Raina. The guy who has to make way for Raina is Yusuf because Pathan's utility is mainly in batting in a destructive manner in the last 4-5 overs but if he's sent a bit early, more often than not, he fails. Raina is capable of batting in the middle overs and if need be, accelerate in the death overs so he should be brought in immediately.

But the thing is dhoni can do the job kohli is assigned to do and don't forget raina is left hander and roll his arm over.
