bhajji and zaheer are technically weak with no real foundation. they would be lucky sometimes but against steyn or lee' date= they can be fired out.
are you talking about the same Bhajji who has made 4 Test match 50s against the Aussies :hmmm:

Bhaj is quite shaky in the begining but i also think that there is this casual approach that dekhi jaigi this kind of attitude that top order is good enough so we wont get a chance to bat

I wouldn't say Bhajji is technically weak. Did you see that six he hit in the test match off Steyn. It was pure class. Straight bat, coming at a perfect arc. He was holding the pose. You can dismiss bhajji when he is very new to the crease with yorker or full balls. But once he gets his eye in he can play like a regular batsman. zak is all about determination. Pure will. Not much technique. Munaf and Nehra.. they are totally useless.

Does Harbhajan Singh usually bat better in Tests than ODIs?
You could say that. He is comfortable building his innings at his own pace. Moment the game situation dictates the pace they get cold feet. Having said that when India chases he is a different animal. Remember the sixes he hit against Akhtar, Aamer, Morkel. India won both matches.

IMO yes. He takes a bit of time to settle and then starts playing well and that kind of time is available only in Tests, so I suppose he bats better in Tests.

Doesn't India have the 'batting buddy' system where one top order player becomes the batting coach of a lower order player? Australia and England have had it for a while.
I hope not coz knowing Nehra and Munaf things would take a turn for the worse - even our top order batsmen will start batting like Nehra and Munaf :--D

bhajji is a striker of the ball and he does have useful striking ability but his basic skills like forward defence are not of a decent standard he is vulnerable against very good deliveries and above .he can bat occasionally and nothing MORE. if he was not technically weak, he would be a genuine allrounder like irfan. he himself knows he is not.

are you talking about the same Bhajji who has made 4 Test match 50s against the Aussies[\quote] so??? he can bat occasionally. that's all it shows.. his foundation is essentially weak and he will never be a real allrounder if i never knew bhajji and if you were to ask me to examine him, i would immediately tell you in five deliveries, he is less than a allrounder in batting ability.

This is why we need Ashwin instead of datun mamu Nehra. At least Ashwin can defend his wicket, take singles, and play a couple of shots instead of getting out so haplessly and making up for it by flashing his gator teeth.

But other players played like millionaires. :winky:
