Rajiv Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Seriously, I cannot recollect? Was he so sure that WI would have DRS'd it and he would have been given out
hari504504 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Yes'day's Punter incident probably put him under pressure to make himself look better than that..
Watson87 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I have seen him not walking before, why today? why why why when I put so much ICF on stake why paaji :((
CSK Fan Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I have seen him not walking before' date=' why today? why why why when I put so much ICF on stake why paaji :(([/quote'] He has walked many times before. He walked once on 97 when he edged a ball down the leg and umpire did not give him out.
Watson87 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 He has walked many times before. He walked once on 97 when he edged a ball down the leg and umpire did not give him out. Yes I know, but I have seen him not walking as well. This is WC brah, he should have stayed.
Raghav_12 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Whatever he shouldn't have walked today as well. He's got more than fair share of bad calls in his career and he always accepted umpires decision without raising an eyebrow. So today also he should have gone by whatever umpire decides.

vaibhav_delhi Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Today he walked prolly bcoz its a dead rubber... on another note, glad that he's out cheaply. Fans will get a chance to admire other players too n its doesnt hurt india's chances either....infact enhances them if someone else scores a TON....
SachDan Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 He has walked many times before. He walked once on 97 when he edged a ball down the leg and umpire did not give him out. Against South Africa at Mumbai. That's the only instance I can remember of him walking.
Ramzz Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 OMG you cannot have different set of moral rules for different batsmen. To the argument that he has received many wrong calls, well as some have pointed he has not walked on some...so that argument is neutralized He walked. Right decision in the end. Hats off!
CSK Fan Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Against South Africa at Mumbai. That's the only instance I can remember of him walking. Really? what about the akhtar incident which was much criticised? There were many others too
Sid Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 1998 Sharjah against Aussies ,again it was caught behind
hari504504 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Really? what about the akhtar incident which was much criticised? There were many others too he didn't do anyone a favor by walking.. the play was within the rules. Both the players were watching the ball...
Rajiv Posted March 20, 2011 Author Posted March 20, 2011 ..well, in terms of Karma - he was been given worst, and I am very comfortable putting this on the floor for all Moral reasons Morality is not played by all out there
CSK Fan Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 he didn't do anyone a favor by walking.. the play was within the rules. Both the players were watching the ball... Huh, what are you talking about?
Raghav_12 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 he's a good man and all.. but thats taking it too far. I've seen him show his bat and shake his head for lbw decisions.. but you didn't see him raising his eyebrows. did you? All I wanted to say by using particular phrase that he always accepts umpire's decisions gracefully. Mild shaking of head doesn't take anything away..
putrevus Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 they have sure made rampaul look like andy roberts
hari504504 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Huh' date=' what are you talking about?[/quote'] you are talking about the runout at Eden Gardens ?
