World cup news: Hot off the press "ICC to review power play" Following India's recent debacles in the power play, ICC president Sharad Pawar is considering revising ODI power play regulations to suit the greatest batting lineup in the world. Apparently Pawar plans to replaces PowerPlay-3 with an innvoative "Pawaar Play" that lets Indian batsmen arbitrarily extend the field restrictions until they can score runs without losing a wicket. In between there will be a "Power Pray" that will let the batsmen pray in between overs to arrest an impending collapse. Captain Dhoni welcomed the move. "The difference between good teams & great teams is that great teams dont repeat the same mistakes every other game, though they might repeat them every game", Dhoni was his usual eloquent self. "But with Pawaar play we have an insurance policy just incase things go wrong", explained Dhoni. "I will never walk" says Afridi After Sachin resumed the walking debate with his recent dismissal against the WI, every captain is mulling over the "walking" decision. Shahid Afridi was among the first to break the slience on walking. "Look, I hardly keep my eyes open, when i swing & I do not know if I am really out, ok ? I will wait till the umpire gives me out" explained Afridi. "I have always walked on the pitch, so walking is not new to me, if i see a reason for it, I'll walk", he went on to explain. Ponting too was not too enthusiastic about walking. "With my current form, I'd rather sit in the dressing room than bother walking all the way to the pitch to only walk back. I'll leave it to the umpires. I think we need good umpires like Steve Bucknor to man the UDRS to help preserve the game and my form"
