Cricket Tragic Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Since drawing strange conclusions appears to be the flavour of the month, I've come to the conclusion that Sehwag's presence in the team in a final is bad luck for India. When Sehwag plays a final, India end up losing the match but when he doesn't play, India win. Think back to the T20 final, CB series, Asia Cup and Compaq cup. What is common? Yes, Sehwag missed all those finals. When Sehwag has played, India have won only 1 final (Natwest) and lost 14. Hence, we can come to the conclusion that Sehwag's presence in the team affects the team mentally and he is a negative. Or we can call it a jinx. We should drop Sehwag if we make the WC final. Tendulkar should be dropped for all league matches and played only in the final since India has a 100% winning record when he makes a hundred in a final. India have also won only one 50 overs final since 1989 without him. The team should be picked solely based on such stats since members on ICF have proved without doubt how the presence or absence of certain players in certain matches have a mental impact on the rest of the team.

vvvslaxman Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 So let us ask sachin to score 0 and drop Viru.. is there any other player bringing bad luck to our team? Sure there must be some reason others also cause India's defeat.

Sure there must be some reason others also cause India's defeat. No, no. no..... That would be a disaster since India have a 0% winning record in finals when Tendulkar has scored zero but a 100% winning when when he makes a hundred. Sehwag should be dropped since he is bad luck and Tendulkar should be told to get a selfish hundred. I've calculated the correct team that should be picked based on luck and mental impact on the rest of the team and also the optimum score each player should make to win.
Ramzz Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Just make Tendu score a hundred...so even if Viru plays, they will cancel each other out!
Cricket Tragic Posted March 22, 2011 Author Posted March 22, 2011 Just make Tendu score a hundred...so even if Viru plays' date=' they will cancel each other out![/quote'] Nope, can't do that. If Tendulkar makes a hundred in a final, India wins the game. But Tendulkar has not made a hundred in a final where Sehwag has played. So, Sehwag is bad luck for India and Tendulkar.
ganeshran Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 I think we should bring in Sreesanth because he is in lucky for India. Also drop Dhoni, because with him as captain India has only won 55% of matches
Sachin=GOD Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Yeah Sree was part of the Tontee Tontee team that won the WC, so he's "lucky" and should be in the team. One more suggestion - please drop Kirsten as Coach right now and bring LalChand Rajput - he has the highest winning% among all Indian coaches IIRC.
Sid Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 If u want lucky charm, bring in Vijay,he is most probably our luckiest cricketer,we seldom lose when he is playing :P
punjabi_khota Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 The way "I, the great M$ coder (NOT QA tester :hitler:) " see it is that failure of Sehwag at top is due to presence of SRT on the other end.(This dog SRT, is a mere mortal btw :finger:). It affects Sehwag by 6.5%, and hence he is not able to score many runs. And then Sehwag leaves early, SRT gets nervous (the midget choker he is) and is unable to score hundreds of his own. This induction effect (SRT affects Sehwag affects SRT) is then passed on to the rest of team, with each member affected by (6.5-x)%, where x is 6.5 for Dhoni and 0 for all others. Since the data is based on 15 finals, it is statistically significant enough for me to make my genius observations. You stupid ****tards would be thinking, what logic is that. Well, I have news for you retards. If you challenge my logic, I would NOT take my pants off and show my right ass cheek where I got Bill Gates' autograph...now you don't want me to do that, do you ?
