urbestfriend Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Its pathetic by Ahmedabad crowd , but those who booed are jaahil people who are plenty in India, but whats shocking is these culture-less people are minority even in ICF too.
IKnowU Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Meh Booing happens all over the world in almost all sports. Them professional athletes better learn to deal with it or gtfo. This aint 19th century backyard cricket with the Queen watching.

It is a sport and the audience is supposed to act as 12th man, they are not there to just clap hands and watch the game.
cowboysfan Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 we should do more than booing each time a paki touches the ball in the semis, the 12th man advantage cannot be underestimated.

EnterTheVoid Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 TBH, I don't think professional athletes care, they probably view this is as part and parcel of the game. You get exceptions like Sachin who gets standing ovations at every ground he plays at. I personally don't like it but I have a lot of respect for the guy who just cops it and moves on as opposed to the guy who uses the "booing" as an excuse for his/her piss poor performance.
99.94 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 What about after claiming a catch which clearly bounce at least 2 inches away from him? I don't think Dhoni deserved to be booed for that.
anbuchelvan Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Ponting will be remembered as the most disgraced cheater in cricketing history.
99.94 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Ponting will be remembered as the most disgraced cheater in cricketing history. How..? Nothing Ponting has done could be worse than match-fixing.. surely?
Bradman99 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 How..? Nothing Ponting has done could be worse than match-fixing.. surely? Yeah, but Pakistan haven't won anything so they have no reason to hate them as much.
King Tendulkar Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 If people want Ponting to be respected, then he first has to respect Oppo and the game of cricket first. To me he seems as if he likes being bood and revels in his villian status. He does every thing he can to be bood and act like the SOB he is.
