Sehwag1830 Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Yesterday was important for you guys. We were already there so we will see after the final eh? Yes ASIA CUP WINNER INDIA=5 PAKISTAN=1 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Won't be surprised if you lose this one then you claim ASIA CUP is not important.:hysterical:
Utalk Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Yes according to lahori logic A WC semi-final defeat = A sharjah match defeat A WC quarter final defeat = Kitply cup defeat A T20 WC final defeat = Cool- Cool cup defeat Pakistan have such a pathetic record against India in all important games, and they are talking about head to head record. I am sorry but an odi is an odi. Yes you always beat us in the world cup but it's not they all were important matches. In 92 you beat us we won the WC. In 99 you beat us we reached the final. 96 and 2011 semi were the two games where pressure was on both sides and Ind came out on top.
akshayxyz Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 pehle hum final mein toh pahunch jaayein :D :--D Would be fun if SL loses. Inki jalti rahegi to take a shot at revenge. :D
Sachin=GOD Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 :--D Would be fun if SL loses. Inki jalti rahegi to take a shot at revenge. :D there's always Kitply Cup B->

What ? :haha::haha::haha::haha: A WC match = A sharjah match . Only for a Paki. Funny how you missed 2003 WC match.
Utalk Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Sehwag I am in no mood to fight over this. But you keep bringing Sharjah matches in but what about head to head record in Ind with Indian umpires?
Vijy Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 What ? :haha::haha::haha::haha: A WC match = A sharjah match . Only for a Paki. Funny how you missed 2003 WC match. It's probably because they were shell-shocked. It leads to amnesia...
Sachin=GOD Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 I am sorry but an odi is an odi. Yes you always beat us in the world cup but it's not they all were important matches. In 92 you beat us we won the WC. In 99 you beat us we reached the final. 96 and 2011 semi were the two games where pressure was on both sides and Ind came out on top. But World Cup matches are much more important than regular ODI matches/Kitply Cup/Cool Cool Cup so we can say that India is better than Pak in high pressure games.
Sehwag1830 Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Sehwag I am in no mood to fight over this. But you keep bringing Sharjah matches in but what about head to head record in Ind with Indian umpires? NO. I bring sharjah because nobody remembers Sharjah, Pepsi or Kitply cup. Heck i don't remember 2004 tour to Pak or 2006 tour to Pak. But everyone remembers WC and ASIA cup.
Utalk Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 :--D Would be fun if SL loses. Inki jalti rahegi to take a shot at revenge. :D akshay Mian you will be in the final. Be ready.
Utalk Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 When did I bring Sharjah or kitply matches? Yes you own us in WCs but hey Banglore 87,chennai 99 and Calcutta 99 I do remember. Now to me them win were more important then any WC games.
Sehwag1830 Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 When did I bring Sharjah or kitply matches? Yes you own us in WCs but hey Banglore 87' date='chennai 99 and Calcutta 99 I do remember. Now to me them win were more important then any WC games.[/quote'] Fine it is your opinion. But to me WC 2011, WC 2003 and T20 WC 2007(final) will be etched in memory forever. It doesn't matter how many times we defeat Bangladesh, but that 2007 WC loss still haunts every Indian fan.
Number Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 One factor why we have dominated them in WC is that they are poor chasers in high pressure games. And they were made to chase 4 out of 5 times. Even a player like Inzi crumbled in that sort of pressure in chasing who has in general got good record against us. And of course 2003 was a genius innings by Sachin.
Khaleja Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 When did I bring Sharjah or kitply matches? Yes you own us in WCs but hey Banglore 87' date='chennai 99 and Calcutta 99 I do remember. Khaleja Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Yesterday was important for you guys. We were already there so we will see after the final eh? I tell you one thing no game can beat the world cup matches the patroitism is some thing else.
akshayxyz Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 akshay Mian you will be in the final. Be ready. No Problem. Just another match for me. Frankly I am not excited at all. I am watching this series as I have nothing better to do. Even in yesterday's match I didn't feel the tension even for a second, I was not worried about losing and neither did I get overexcited over the win - when I compare to the WC matches last year.
Magneto Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 We need to win the finals (if all goes well) and the next Indo-Pak encounter to make it 5 on the trot. When do we see the next Indo-Pak ODI? :dontknow: ICC Champions Trophy 2013?
NareshK Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 NO. I bring sharjah because nobody remembers Sharjah, Pepsi or Kitply cup. Heck i don't remember 2004 tour to Pak or 2006 tour to Pak. But everyone remembers WC and ASIA cup. Nobody remembers Asia cup. We've been to the finals and won this cup so many times. Its just another meaningless ODI tournament. Things that will be remembered are World Cup and overseas test series in SA, Aus and Eng because those conditions are alien to us and those teams are particularly good at home. Encounters with Pak are always special though.

Sehwag1830 Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 ASIA CUP in cricket = Euro cup in football. If you don't remember it, your problem
