Tigerbait Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 No statements, no tall claims and no excuses whatsoever. I think it speaks volumes on how far we have come as a professional side. Win or lose, you have to respect the demeanor these guys are projecting despite the pressure and media attention.
DomainK Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 This calmness must be very disturbing for Pakistan. The silence is deafening for them. This calmness is more like a statement of ruthless superiority. Evidence of sheer arrogance. Stamp of authority. Must be very unnerving for the Pakistani cricketers who seem to have gone mad over the media with outrageous statements.
Ramzz Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 BCCI policies prevent them from giving statements to the media. They might also be avoiding news channels, newspapers, radio to not get into the hype and just focus on the task at hand i.e. winning a game of cricket.

Can't say for their cricketers but some of their fans I've encountered are letting this silence get to them. They're looking for something, anything to play up their underdog card but not finding it. A bunch of nervous nancies they are right about now.

NareshK Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 no statements' date='no tall claims, but wen it mattered they showed thier nervousness.dropped a boowler that was taking wickets[/quote'] Yesterday you were arguing left, right and center that Ashwin should be dropped as he is playing against sub continent teams for the first time and in Mohali where there is no turn and now you are saying Dhoni made a bad choice in dropping Ashwin. Do you change your mind every second ? http://indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=1400624&postcount=93
