VRV Singh Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 U have to give Dhoni a lot of credit for the limited overs successes We are obviously not blessed in the bowling department (though epic STFU's from Munna and Nehra today) so he has to find other ways of exerting pressure + getting wickets, especially in the middle overs. IMO he places faith, or has to do so, in bowlers when a lot of captains wouldn't, and today it came off fantastically.

Having said that he should prove his worth as batsman, Very much a Walking Wicket, Terrible record as batsman in ICC tournaments. His captaincy was beautiful....in the way he lead the side with his body language, his thoughtful bowling changes, and most importantly the aggressive field settings. NO SINGLES. Also the right man for the right fielding position. Your not going to beat Raina, Kohli and Yuvraj too many times!
