varun Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Where's everyone watching in London? At home, but i wouldn't mind going to a nice place.. Any good ones you know of near South-Central where desis will be getting together ?
goose Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 At home' date=' but i wouldn't mind going to a nice place.. Any good ones you know of near South-Central where desis will be getting together ?[/quote'] i normally prefer the comfort of my home minus the crowds etc but thinking of venturing out for what might be an epic! you want to avoid places like Southall and find a decent Indian bar/restaurant family type venue dotted with TV screens. i know of a few places mostly in North London (Stanmore, Harrow) that will definitely be packing them in. I'll let you know if i decide on something. Blue Ginger Namaste Lounge The Abercorn Zan Zi Bar
goose Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Or there's the Sports Cafe in central London. Facebook search on 'India Sri Lanka London' events.

Sachin=GOD Posted April 2, 2011 Author Posted April 2, 2011 Absolutely epic celebrations in Lucknow today....................I went to the main market HazratGanj at around 12.30 in the night and there were thousands and thousands of people on cars and bikes and trucks etc waving the Tricolor and screaming at the top of their voice, dancing with replicas of the WC Trophy. Firecrackers are still burning at 2.30 in the night and looks like there will be some more celebrations tomorrow :yay::yay::yay::yay:

I lived in Chennai for 4 years and have lot of Muslim friends. Havent seen anything but support for Indian team from them. Even though supporting a particular team isnt something that can be demanded from anyone.
