I would've atleast understood if this channel had quoted the name of Rohit Sharma or Rahul Dravid, since #3 is the position GG bats in. There is no doubt this is a hoax. And Yusuf Pathan MUST play if GG sits out He is not going to play anyway... Will probably be used as the 12th man and Tiwary is a good fielder...

Against SL, it is crucial that whoever comes in there, can play spin well... Batting PP and last 10 overs bowled by SL will be 70% of spin...Malinga will bowl 3-4 overs, rest spin... So its imperative that YP can pick the carrom ball and doosra...

Best choice would have been Rahul Dravid. he just scored 100. You can very well call Laxman too, he can do everything Gambhir can, just that he is a baggage for rest of the match - as a fielder. IMO - move Kohli to #3, and let Pathan come after Raina. He adds to bowling options too. Or Dhoni to #3 - and let Pathan take Dhoni's place.

It is the nation that they play for. Dravid can get one chance to sign off on a high from ODIs. Although this is highly speculative, it'd be great if they consider Rahul Dravid over Saurabh Tiwary. Hmm. Maybe fielding is the reason his name surfaced, then, given that on any given day, all our 15 players do play for us :giggle:

They may bring in whoever they like - be it Tiwari or anyone else, now that GG is out, its got to be Yusuf pathan in the final 11. p.s. IIRC Yusuf Pathan was also in the squad for the 2007 T20 World Cup but got to play only one match...................and guess what, it was the Final - so he's lucky for India and he'll play if GG is out :D
