Smiling and crying at the same time is an amazing feeling which can never be described...........Even if India win in 2015 I am sure I wont have tears because it would be second time India would win in my lifetime.....but today was amazing........I just could not hold back because for past 30 years I have been dreaming and hoping for this day........I played a little bit of cricket in NBSA club in VashiNavi Mumbai way back in early 1990s then I moved to Toronto ..My only regret today was I was not in Vashi.....at NBSA bar where all my friends had gathered..........but yes March 1 2003....I was there at NBSA resturant and bar with 10 of my friends watchinng the Indo-Pak encounter....I can only imagine the party they must have had today........and I will always regret not having gone to India on this day...because I did have a chance for vacation but I did not go because that would mean leave without pay from work..and that would have affected my mortgage payments........but seriously on hindsight........I probably missed the biggest party ever...and now I regret it :(............I have been watcihng the QF SF and final highlights again and again and again........and the feeling is still sinking in yet.........:)
I hear you dude.. I hear you.. WELL SAID and written.

I was absolutely stunned when Sachin got out. I had been cheering every single room with my TV. When Dhoni hit that sixer both my eyes got wet and all i still see is Dhoni's raw emotion when he hit it. He really didn’t know what to do...and nor did I. I shall cherish this moment for the rest of my life and will support the team during thick and thin.

I did. So many years of unremitting support of a team I always saw as gentlemen of the sport...the humble...always vanquished, but with sparks of brilliance. The turn around came for India...and Oz...after the Sydney test match 2008. Examine it...you will see. I was living in Oz at the time and the test disgusted me. And the aftermath moreso. Since then, the Indian team has been on the up and up and the Oz team on the downslide. Why do you reckon that is?
