youngindia Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 well its easier to build infrastructure,organise events and programs and people for a population of 20 milion. to build it for one state like up or bihar would be highly complex by itself! bihar hardly produces star material. In India, state associations have to operate like a country in itself.The task will be huge. people from the non major cities are starting to make the national team. but lot of them are still left out. long long way to go before approaching the system of the advanced sporting coutries. In australia, there is little chance that a super talent from the schools,clubs or leagues will slip(maybe to other aussie rules). iN india, there is a great chance of many talents leaving. i myself knew badani made it while one batsman better than him in the juniors didn't make it to internationals.

I am really not sure if such a team could be anywhere competitive in this WC... :winky: That was our B team..A team was playing England at the same time and our second string team beat NZ 5-0 remember
