Switchblade Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 All DD haters have such under sized dil :afridi: Sehwag is a smart operator and can give a ball a meaty blow
StriKe Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Vettori to lead Bangalore,Sangakkara to captain Deccan and Gilchrist for Punjab in IPL 2011 http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2011/content/story/509602.html
pinkfreud Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Bangalore's pace bowling looks pretty good with Zak and Nannes at the helm of affairs. Add Vettori to the mix and they have a pretty lethal unit, provided Vettori ups his game in time for the tourney. How I wish we could have Zak back :((
achilles Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Pune is one of the strongest team in this year's IPL
abhinav Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Pune is one of the strongest team in this year's IPL Some serious damage due to injuries - Nehra and Mathooz
Switchblade Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Pune is one of the strongest team in this year's IPL Nehra out for 6 weeks needs a surgey Mathews out for 8 weeks
cowboysfan Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 team with the best bowling attack usually wins in t20.bangalore has a good bowling lineup except the 2nd spinner to backup vettori.I hope one of the unknown locals comes through and bowls well.
spectre Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 My team CSK is the one to beat Strong batting batting lineup and a really good bowling lineup mixed with quality allrounders and you got an ideal T20 lineup to take on any team The Champs are out for the kill, Watch out
CoverDrive Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 actually none of the teams have a very strong bowling lineup. DD has good young fastbowlers, RCB seems well balanced, rest seem to be struggling. KKR has quite a few allrounders and CSK is also decent
rkt.india Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I feel DD is the weakest team this time . DD do not have superstars, but they have upcoming stars..Their batting looks very strong with Sehwag, Warner, Finch, Unmukt Chand, Matthew Wade, Naman OJha, and Travis Birt... Bowling is not bad too especially pace department with Morkel, Dinda, Yadab, Agarkar, Aaron and good allround options like Irfan, Hopes, Mcdonald, and Frylink
girishk14 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 When ur facing quality bowling, u need seasoned stars. And all this team has is Sehwag and Warner. We all know what happens to warner after 1 quickfire knock. I don't understand why any team would donate their world class foriegn player combination to RCB.
abhinav Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Not true in case of T20 atleast. India won the T20 WC with a team devoid of super stars, so did England last year. DD with all its superstars could not win the IPL. Infact, in the last edition Dilshan, ABDV, Vettori were the biggest flops. Besides, guys like Irfan, Finch, Wade, Birt are proven T20 players in their domestic leagues.
