I had decided to take on Gul: Sehwag

Sehwag did not have to take him on. Gul and Afridi gave Sehwag advantage on the platter.
Some of Sehwag's shots off Gul were off pretty decent deliveries.

Gul choked....simple as that. I bet any other day when the game is not of this magnitude then Gul most probably will have the upper hand. But on countless times, Gul has failed to deliver in the crucial challanges.

This time Viru laid into him. Some other team would have defended him paying respect. Viru is not one of those guys. He is going to attack anyone regardless. If you are lucky you will pick him up. Choking happens mainly while batting not bowling. Because you are 1 against 11.

Once Sehwag had a bit of his cake, Gul didnt really want to be on the feild. He was feilding at fine leg, considering the hostility of the crowd behind him. Afridi had no choice but to bowl him at the end, The strike bowler became a liability! Thankfully, Riaz lifted himself from the hole he was in, Otherwise pakistan could have suffered an embarrasing defeat.

Tendulkar.. i never saw him so tentative in his career. Occasion got to him. His feet were not moving. He didn't get to pitch of the ball. It was all scrambled for everybody. Riaz, Sehwag, Raina, Ajmal are some of the few who showed no nerve. On another day in a bilateral series INdia would have completely outrun Pakistan.

They were tooo nervous. But yeah, as usual india would have the upper hand, but not completly considering the venues.
