Congrats Vettel.. Excellent organisation of the event. There could be some glitches but overall a successful event. Imagine if it would've been organised by any Govt. undertaking.. The moment I saw Mayawati, I thought she gonna make a speech for sure.. But tanks fro small mercies..The post event organisation was slick and professional. Congratulations to Vijay Mallya for his efforts to bring F1 in India..

lol nahin .. you've no idea what kind of mess is there .I hope things will improve from next year specially from public point of view :)
but still it was much better than all the sports events that have happened here in recent times. Obviously, since it was the 1st time, there were always going to be some problems but overall it went quite well. When the Indian GP was announced a few years ago many people laughed and said that "kyon apne desh ka mazaak udwaane jaa rahe hai, organize toh kar nahi payenge" - now most of them are left wondering - "yeh kya ho gaya  "

Airtel India F1 sponsorship cheaper than CLT20 The value of Indian telecom Airtel's three-year naming rights deal for the Indian Grand Prix is $8.5 million, according to the Times of India. "The deal is ... worth much less than Indian corporates pay for a slice of the cricket pie," said the report. Earlier this month, Airtel pulled its reported $40 million title sponsorship of the Champions League Twenty20 cricket tournament. Bernie Ecclestone said on Thursday he is hopeful F1's new Indian date can ultimately rival the country's love of cricket. "It will take efforts to generate interest. We will never catch cricket, but we can get close to it, perhaps with some extra effort," said the F1 chief executive. http://sports.in.msn.com/formulaone/article.aspx?cp-documentid=5377791

Aapki ladki bahut s unda hai

World champion Sebastian Vettel displayed a flair for language and an eye for the ladies as he used halting Hindi to pay tribute to India's beautiful women on Sunday. Asked to sum up his experiences in India in one phrase, the boy-wonder replied: "Aapki ladki bahut s unda hai (your women are beautiful)." The sentiment was quickly endorsed by McLaren driver Jenson Button, who placed second behind 24-year-old Vettel at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix. Cheeky Vettel famously names his cars after women and calls his latest Red Bull model "Kinky Kylie", in reference to its striking rear end.

Awesome preparations and awesome race. Congrats to the organizers and also to Behenji for indirectly supporting it. LOL Vettel was awesome and dominated throughout the race. He looks like the next Tendulkar of F1 after Schumaker. Like the confidence and control of the kid. Would love to see Force India also doing good though they seem to have improved a bit. But they are quite inconsistent and perhaps would turn better and better with the recent Sahara funding and purchase worth 100 million. Overall awesome race and sport and I am already starting to follow it. One more sport added to follow from now on. :)
