They shouldn't throw anyone out. Cricket needs more teams. A world cup with 8-10 teams barely looks like a World cup. Even with 10 teams I bet tournament will be 40 days long, with long breaks/one game a day to milk each and every penny out of the cup for greed obsessed ICC.

I come across various reactions of this match. Didn't watch it. Seems like Bangladesh shut the shop down very early focussed mostly on playing out 50 overs. It is a shame BD is still playing for honourable losses.

Its a choice.. If they tried to win it, they would have been all out for 170 in 40 odd overs. They played out the 50 overs and made 210. They lower batting order cannot take any pressure and folds up most of the time (England game was an exception)

They are using international cricket as a training platform. Doing that for a decade. But they won't care as BD has more fanbase than Ireland. That's all they care.

B'desh may not be thrown out of the world cup but at the same time they don't deserve an automatic spot as well. IMO both Zim and B'desh should take part in a ICC Associate qualifying campaign which has top 4 associates as well (Ireland, Netherlands, Kenya, Scotland/Afghanistan) and let the top 2 teams qualify for the World Cup. I suspect Bangbros will struggle if the qualifying tourney is held outside the subcontinent and Ireland would most probably make it to the world cup.
