jf1gp_1 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 can't figure out if you are mocking them or actually serious
Tapioca Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Mocking. About Shakib and Tamim doing a Prabhakar-Mongia act. In fact, even the scores are very similar - India made 211/5 in that match, BD 210/5.
akshayxyz Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Sad to see that this team is guaranteed a spot while brilliant Irish watch from stands.
Params7 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Its Bangladesh that is mocking cricket. The most pathetic test nation right now imo, at least Zim try to win their games. Complete disgrace for Ireland.
BERGKAMP Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Throw the Bangers out of test cricket and the world cup, give the Paddys a chance!
achilles Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Ireland deserves to come ahead of these guys. Sorry Bangladesh, these guys are even ranked higher than you.
Sir_Afridi Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Throw the Bangers out of test cricket and the world cup' date=' give the Paddys a chance![/quote'] Why only Bangladesh?? They won same number of matches in WC as WI.
Pak_Forever Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 They shouldn't throw anyone out. Cricket needs more teams. A world cup with 8-10 teams barely looks like a World cup. Even with 10 teams I bet tournament will be 40 days long, with long breaks/one game a day to milk each and every penny out of the cup for greed obsessed ICC.
Misu243 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Chuck Bangladesh out and bring on Netherlands and Ireland. I would LOVE TO SEE KENYA as well but they broke my heart this WC..need to overhaul the cricket board and bring in new talent.
yoda Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Why only Bangladesh?? They won same number of matches in WC as WI. They scored 59 against WI. :giggle:

vvvslaxman Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 I come across various reactions of this match. Didn't watch it. Seems like Bangladesh shut the shop down very early focussed mostly on playing out 50 overs. It is a shame BD is still playing for honourable losses.
ganeshran Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Its a choice.. If they tried to win it, they would have been all out for 170 in 40 odd overs. They played out the 50 overs and made 210. They lower batting order cannot take any pressure and folds up most of the time (England game was an exception)
Zero_Unit Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Ireland should be stoning ICC now. Atleast when they play they give it their all (getting all out or not). Phetatic!!! Screw you ICC:finger:

Screw you ICC:finger: They are using international cricket as a training platform. Doing that for a decade. But they won't care as BD has more fanbase than Ireland. That's all they care.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011  What a pathetic approach and not for the first time either. If Ireland had the same approach against England, they would never have won. It was a big total but not really an impossible one to chase down. 150 odd in 20 overs with 6 wickets in hand.
Ultimate_Game Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 B'desh may not be thrown out of the world cup but at the same time they don't deserve an automatic spot as well. IMO both Zim and B'desh should take part in a ICC Associate qualifying campaign which has top 4 associates as well (Ireland, Netherlands, Kenya, Scotland/Afghanistan) and let the top 2 teams qualify for the World Cup. I suspect Bangbros will struggle if the qualifying tourney is held outside the subcontinent and Ireland would most probably make it to the world cup.
anish233 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 bangladesh are the crappiest team in the world.,., they show NO signs or improving
