^i was jus kiddin mann, i am also a dhoni lover, so i wont mind if csk win again, but its just good for the competetion if sum1 else win this time round. but gotta agree that csk has been most consistent side in IPL reaching all 4 semis/play offs, :hatsoff:

After their loss against KXIP, I wasn't that concerned about MI. I was happy they lost miserably, but every team loses once in a while. But what really concerns me now is that they didn't bounce back today. Good teams bounce back and destroys the minnow team following a loss. Only bad teams lose two in a row against minnows. I think MI is about done. They cld prove me wrong, but looks like they have already peaked and are at the beginning of the slide. Their confidence is at an all time low.
IMO there are no minnow team in IPL. Some teams though have been inconsistent & paid the price & are either out of playoff or will soon.

Is Malinga going back to SL like Dilshan and other SL players? If yes, Mumbai will be in huge trouble as Malinga is their trump card at the moment and they don't have any backup for him. Without Malinga I don't see Mambai doing well in the playoffs.

I thought it was mandatory for all the SLCB contracted players and doesn't matter whether you are picked for Tests.

Not really. Even gaize like Sanga and Jaya will be joining the team only for the second warm up IIRC. There was talk of them picking them a few extra players for the first warmup. Dilshan being a new captain is excited to go back and lead the show from the beginning.

Ok. Mumbai caught a break there as without Malinga they would be toast. Btw I wouldn't be surprized if Mumbai put pressure on Malinga to give up Tests in favor of shorter format, especially T20s. By the way I would have done the same thing which Malinga did - he is injury prone and should make hay while the sun shines.

There is some possibility that besides RCB' date=' one of the other top 3 fail to make the playoff....& replaced by KXIP. Now that will be something[/quote'] Might be KKR have a feeling that Kallis is going to be the one due to his batting

I don't understand the blatant double standards of the IPL bosses. Warne gets finned 50,000 USD for texting someone the words " stupid" but CSK get away with fielding animals on the playing ground and distracting opposing players. Your minnow team should be banned from home games and pay a fine of 1000000000000000 USD. What is this animal connection with CSK? Your stadium hosts many animals like Shivmani and Doggy (Bollinger) & your fans on ICF include yoda bear and Ze-lizard. To top it all, you get a mongrel on the pitch. Ridiculous. Where is that animal exterminator CSK fan aka Ram? What happened to your ideals of stray extermination now? Your team won this game by pure deceit. This is shameful.
