Sid Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Pollard is the best. Because he is a fantastic fielder close in' date=' as well as being an unbelievable fielder in the deep. Colly, [b']ABDV etc dont field in the deep. Fz3Ca2vGYqM
Holysmoke Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 ^ one match re.. he doesnt regularly field in the deep. I'm not talking of once in a blue moon stuff.
Sid Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 ^ one match re.. he doesnt regularly field in the deep. I'm not talking of once in a blue moon stuff. He regulary fields in the deep in the later overs :dontknow:
girishk14 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Yogesh Nagar :-) He finished the great Sanath's career
julianlev Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Looks like Rhodes has found his protege The way Pollard threw himself around reminded me alot of Johnty back in the day
CoverDrive Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 he is a very good outfielder with long reach and is very athletic. One of his efforts to save a six was almost like a basketball slam dunk. IPL is great place for guys like him from WI who otherwise would be in some other sport beacause of their athleticism.
bunny Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 ABDV says :hello: My top 5: ABDV, Steven Smith, Cam White, Martin Guptill, Mike Clarke +1 to Guptill
The Outsider Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Ponting still remains the best, as he has been for years now.
Zelig Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Ponting still remains the best' date=' as he has been for years now.[/quote'] Ricky doesn't play T20 :beee:
anish233 Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 i think there are a few amazing filenders, and he is one of them... i wouldn't go as far as to say he is the best... but ddamn mumbai have beasts in him, rohit and symmo
Ram Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 He's really unique in the sense that he's a cricket with the athletic abilities of a NBA player. I have never seen a cricketer of such size be this mobile. And if that isnt enough, he has unbelievable hands and a great arm as well. To me, he's probably the best all-round fielder in the world right now.
jibranpatel15 Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 :two_thumbs_up: No doubt about Pollard. It was him who turned the game on its head. 1st that Hussey catch & in next over Dhoni's wicket aswell. :nice: Pollard
anish233 Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 catches win matches. and if it wasn't for polard i doubt mumbai cud have pulled that one off.

The Outsider Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Ricky doesn't play T20 :beee: So? Is that a requirement to be the best fielder in the world?
Zelig Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 So? Is that a requirement to be the best fielder in the world? Sarcasm fail :beee: Having said that, ABDV > RP :icflove:
