What has gone wrong? a) Letting away Rohit sharma was a mistake. Do not know who took this half baked decision What was the logic behind hiring the super useless christian :mad: c) Too many specialist bowlers. 4 specialist bowlers in a T20 game is little too much. d) I have no idea why Leeman is still being put as a coach here. Excellence in season 2 and 3 is more due to rohit, Symo and Gilly. e) DC should have gone flat out for all-rounders in the auction. The current team has just Christian, and he looks like crap.
yoda Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 They have taken over from KKR for the most dumb headed management. They should have retained Gilly and Symonds I believe. BTW Rohit may not have wanted to be retained given the possibility to going back home.

There are not many T20 specialists in their line up. White is grossly out of form. Christian is just okay. ON the positive side you can win with this team as they have decent bowling attack.

He is not a good T20 player. Strike rate of 119 is poor. Not like DHoni has better :cantstop: . But Dhoni can simply explode in a way that Sanga can never.

DC management can never seem to get the balance right. Only Pietersen can partly revive this team. But he is nursing his injury back in England. :wall:

Team looked very strong with Sanga, Steyn, White and KP - But a miserably out of form white, injured KP, useless steyn on indian pitches, and an overloaded Sanga (cos of a non-existent top order before him) has really destroyed the team. 2. No back up bowlers, Ishant and Christian are very prone to having bad days, and there is no good back up for them - bring in rusty theron. He would have leaked 5 runs in last two overs, unlike Christian n co who leaked 40.

I'm not supporting DC this season because they think we are idiots and expect us to support their stupid decisions. And what is ravi teja doing at that position.. he is an opener and should be given a chance to open.. he is struggling at No.6
Guest tekno Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Rayudu did not play for Deccan last time. He played for Mumbai. Laxman has not been that effective for them in the past, he was benched. They need to open with Sangakarra and have Christian at #4 for starters
