WTF :haha: I remember 7-8 years ago my dad, who was a decent follower of Ranji matches, used to say Rayudu will definitely play for the Indian team within next few months. But the stuff he went through feel really sorry for this guy. But good thing he has age on his side, he can still make it. :two_thumbs_up:

no uncapped player should be given a place based on the ipl badri, pujara, rohit, tiwary, uthappa, and even vijay should be given a chance ahead of the rayadus and the valthatys yuvraj should be in the test squad atleast, if not in the xi

Badrinath cannot get the ball off the square against quality fast bowling. He has repeatedly proven it.

What about players like rahane, badri etc?? Are selectors completely ignoring domestic performances? IPL performances should not be considered seriously, except for T20

Agree with that I have been following both Rayudu and Badri since their very early days...while Rayudu has had Shivlal Yadav destroy his chances, Badri you must say is the most unfairly treated chap. Pujara, Rahane, Rohit, Tiwary, etc are only newbies compared to Badri. The worst was when Badri finally said "at least give me a chance to fail????" I mean seriously. If there is only 1 new place...Badri is my choice. If there are two then I can thnk of Virat and Rayudu...this is for Tests.

^ Yes but Nirvanam - there is heck of a lot of bias against Badri here on ICF. I wonder how much of such bias he suffered in his cricketing life as well. Pity him.

^ I dunno about ICF but it sure looks like it is so in BCCI. Probably the guy is very forthright. I just feel if we had Badri in when Dada retired, by now we would have had an able replacement for the #3 spot.

Badri has really been Very unlucky......He would have been a very good allrounder to come in after Dhoni..goood to win few matches with bat and good enough to bowl 5 overs atleast.could have been Indias Razzaq..Rayudu well thats Indian politics at worst at every level..........A real talent wasted and mind you I am from Mumbai but still saying both of these players were really unlucky...Rayudu may still have chance since he is young .but Badri was a lot lot better that the Dinesh Mongia and Ravindra Jadeja who got so many chances
