Aussie IPL coaches..

Coaches are not that important in cricket and especially in T20 because hardly anything happens according to plan. The captain must take quick decisions on the field and keep changing plans every few overs and a lot depends on how he manages things.

Its because Australian coaches have the most credentials and proffesionallism to carry out the work. "Indian coach would know his players better!" Seriously? :hysterical: Same thing goes for Umpiring. The best of the lot come from ENG, SA, AU because they have the best infrastructure and support to train these professional to their full potential........unlike one county :giggle:

DD coach has been the worst of them all' date='trying all Victorian domestic players like Wade,Birt ahead of an intl. player like Ingram.[/quote'] It is an absolute disgrace that Ingram has not been given a chance despite their batting woes. Also WTF are Delhi playing at. They went with 2 bowling all-rounders at 3 and 4 today. Why not promote Venugoppal Rao and Naman Ojha ahead of Hopes and Irfan Pathan, they have to be the most brainless IPL team around. Today 07:09 PM Zelig Dermot Reeve is a good T20 coach. Does this guy actually do any coaching? All i see him do is his Imran Khan impression! Seems like a good guy though.

Virender Sehwag is not known to have a brain. Add in the brainless coaches and you have a recipe for disaster.

I thought kochi would end up last but failed to take into account Sehwag's captaincy and Delhi's strategy. People like Sehwag and Bhajji do not have the patience to captain a side. But you really cannot blame Sehwag for all their loss since the team selection is so screwed up that the only international class players in the side are the Indian players.

It's of no use in a T20 match. Pakistan is a very unprofessional team, but still is such a force in T20. You need to pick right players first, results will follow

You cannot make blanket statements that Aussies coaches are incompetent or indulging in favouritism. That implies every Australian coach is doing the same which isnt true. I think better way would be to raise issues against individual coaches rather than club them all together
