ganeshran Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Metallica is going to perform in Noida in October for the Formula 1 race. Though not confirmed by race authorities, Robert Trujillo said in an interview that they are going to visit India!! :yay::yay: More reasons to go for the race :two_thumbs_up: http://www.hindustantimes.com/Metallica-gig-in-India/Article1-690237.aspx
EnterTheVoid Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Dude, ****ing go for it. I'd go just to see Metallica, couldn't care less for the F1. Saw them live last year and they put up a hell of show with insane lasers/pyrotechics. They sound a million times better live than they do on their records.
kumble_rocks Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Metallica - bunch of losers, remeber their tirade against Napster !:winky:

I am trying for a ticket.. will most probably cost a fortune, but with Metallica playing, it might just be worth it :two_thumbs_up:

These are the pictures from when I went. The pictures don't do justice to the experience as I took them with a crappy hand held but they give a good idea of what to expect if you plan on seeing them LIVE: http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=1226601&postcount=92 http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=1226604&postcount=93 http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=1226606&postcount=94

jusarrived Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 No. F1 is coming to Noida and with it Metallica :yay::yay: really unfortunate that both these events are being held in a place which has no following of either F1 or Rock music .it should have been either in Bangalore or Chennai , may be even Gangtok for Metallica ..the crowd is going to suck in Noida :((

It is the most planned city and it will be huge. There will a stadium bigger than Eden Gardens, India's largest Golf Course, India's one and only F1 circuit and what not. Jaypee Sports City itself will pwn the rest of India in terms of sports projects leave part the whole of Greater Noida. :giggle:
