what he says is correct. It is impossible to generate pace or provide revolution to get the doosra going. Ajmal clearly chucks like most of the doosra bowlers. Considering doosra is stock delivery for Ajmal umpires do have to take a closer look at it. If you bowl an occasional doosra you can get away. Pretty much everything Ajmal bowls is doosra which means pretty much everytime he chucks. So it is freaking obvious. Pakistan bowlers are known for their short cuts. To get wickets they will violate anything. Alas.. it still doesn't help them win matches against top teams.

He is right, the doosra cannot be bowled without bending the arm. how else is the palm going to face the other way :hmmmm2: Unless you have wrist that are like rubber and you dont need the arm/elbow to bowl the doosra, there is always going to be some degree of doubt. ICC should make it clear the number of degrees turn allowed while bowling the doosra so atleast spinners make effort to bowl it legit. Saqlain's doosra was the cleanest but he also chucked it from time to time.

the arm can be bent legally upto a limit. doesn't have to be completely straight.
