Doosra can't be bowled legally: Holding

Well, legally it can...there is the 15 degrees rule. It is next to impossible to get the ball across 22 yards without bending the arm. Some people, like Holding and Bedi think that those who bowl the doosra are chuckers but its fine by me. With the game tilted so heavily in the favour of the batsman, giving some leeway to the bowler is not a problem for me. Plus, with the all the videos available today, any good batsman won't have a whole lot of trouble picking it up.

How come nobody has ever questioned Saqlain action ??
If he is bowling still, he would have been under the gun. He just got away when not many people didn't look at it that way. Let me put this way. If Johan Botha were to be bowling in that era he would have gotten away as well.

Murali & Akhtar were called in the same era as Saqlain.

i pak cricket junaid zia is the biggest chucker that i have seen
They chuck, tamper the ball, tamper the pitch.. it is all fair play since they "want their team to win".

Yes but it all started by trying to accomodate two handicapped suckers -- Murali and Chucktar.
You're an absolute racist. The sad part is because you're Indian you'll keep getting away with it. Though your comment above isn't racist, it's extremely offensive. Wonder how you'd feel if you had a child that was born handicapped.

Holding is one of the best pundits and has a valid opinion on this.Off spin bowling has become a joke in last 15 years with more and more bowlers pushing the limits. Almost every off spinner is doing it these days.I might be wrong but I don't feel comfortable with bowlers using their wrists.Likes of Akhter, Lee, Praveen kumar are guilty of this.
