MI's made a career out of screwing up chases..Look how many close matches they've had in this edition.. But DHoniconda is not applicable just for his ability as CSK captain. Also as Indian captain. we use that term there as well. He had this touch nobody else had. it is gradually wearing off.

If Jhakati, Raina, Ashwin & Raina don't apply the pressure together and with Bravo, Dhoniconda is not effective, usually..

Even on south african wickets Ashwin won man of the series in Champions League. I don't think they have these slow, low wickets there. He often let the team off the hook and managed to claw back most of the times. It is not happening anymore. ON a flat patta wicket he let Srilanka get to 338 in 38 overs..and India won by three runs after posting 414 runs.

Sidhoni Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 It was turning out to be an outstanding move to bring Jaddu in the 18th over. His over turned the game around. Not to forget, there was also a ball which was called wide but it was not. That made the difference in the end.

Needs to get rid of the burden and be back playing as just a player free of any leadership worries. Would do much better without the responsibilities.

Agree... almost as if he's going thru the motions.... seems like after winning wc and test no 1 rank... there's nothing more to achieve

He's shaving on the match day, which is an indication that he is keen to do well... He's showing emotions too while keeping. He fails to motivate himself if it's not business end of any match or a series. This is the business end of this IPL. You'll see him keen to win matches. He's missing his man Friday, Hussey because of Faf...he needs to get Hussey back in the team...
