ensd2 Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Morgan is over rated ' date=' he never shines in ipl : only one fifty in two season[/quote'] Don't know why TEN isn't playing
Andy Posted May 6, 2011 Author Posted May 6, 2011 Hey Andy ' date=' why are you bothered man! You must be very happy that Overrated Kay Kay Har's losing streak started![/quote'] Its not about Kay Kay Har! I think we all are cricket fans, first.
urbestfriend Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Its not about Kay Kay Har! I think we all are cricket fans' date=' first.[/quote'] Hmmm...so as a cricket fan, you are upset by Misba's worldcup semi innings?
Andy Posted May 6, 2011 Author Posted May 6, 2011 Hmmm...so as a cricket fan' date=' you are upset by Misba's worldcup semi innings?[/quote'] No, Not really. Do I look Upset from this thread?:--D
urbestfriend Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 ^ Trying hard, huh? We all know you are upset, hence this thread :cantstop:
saneindian Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 When Tiwary got out, the score was 97/3 in 14 overs. KKR needed 60 off 42 balls..by t20 standards, that should have been doable especially with Morgan and Pathan batting. Credit goes to KTK bowlers for bowling brilliantly. The way they stuck to their plans of bowling well outside off stump to Yusuf was commendable. That's where KTK won the match and not with the Kallis and Morgan partnership. Kallis's role is to play through the innings and he is trying to do that and is being quite successful at it.
Andy Posted May 6, 2011 Author Posted May 6, 2011 ^ Trying hard' date=' huh? We all know you are upset, hence this thread :cantstop:[/quote'] Chal Kalti Maar.:finger:
rajmarie Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 KKR needs to fix their lineup. This has been their problem from start of this IPL. Kallis & Gauti are playing the same sort of role for the team...& that make 1 too many such batman at top....specially when the team needs quick runs in teh powerplay. I will like Shakib to play...extra quality spinner with batting in the midlle-lower order around No6 He should replace Boucher. If the team continues with Boucher..then they need to send him as opener..so that he can go for big hits from start.
ViruRulez Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I had already mentioned in some other threads that Gauti was still making one huge mistake by not coming as an opener himself or sending YP at the start. He was carrying on a blunder of sending accumulators at the start. Guys like Kallis or Morgan are needed to keep the strike at one end but you need a hitter like Gauti or YP at one end at the start especially in high chases. I mentioned that his defensive tactics would hit him hard and it hit him hard yesterday itself. The match was lost in the first 10 overs itself yesterday when Kallis and Morgan were playing continuous dots in such a huge run chase. I am not sure that Gauti still realizes the mistake or not. If I was Gauti and I wanted to save my wicket for the middle or no.3 then I would have sent YP at the start. YP will play rash shots irrespective of being sent as opener or no.5. And opposition will anyways bowl fast bowlers even if he comes at no.5 .. I would send him as an opener instead where his hits and mishits are more likely to land safely as there are only 3 fielders outside the 30 years.. and the day he clicks the game would be over just in batting .. I would instead make Morgan or Ten Doeschete no.5 My lineup for KKR would be: Morgan YP Gauti Kallis/Ten Doeschete Tiwary Boucher Bhatia Abdulla Lee Balaji Unadkat
Stuge Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Kaliis is more of a consolidator than a hitter IMO. He is awesome for ODI's and Test ,but for TT cricket is a avg batsmen to me . regarding this MORON morgan :P he is a good T20 batsmen as far as I know . ooye anyway why does it matter toy you?why do you want to support loser team KKR :P :finger:

Considering they continue with Kallis which I think KKR will...my batting order will be Kallis YP Gauti Tiwari Morgan/Ten Shakib Bisla/Gosami, Abdulla Lee Balaji Unadkat/Bhatia

Andy Posted May 6, 2011 Author Posted May 6, 2011 No way they will lose the last 4 game. KKR will win atleast 2 (against CSK & MI) Those are two best sides. They cannot beat Kochi bhikharis, and I am dreaming and expecting them to beat MI and CSK :hysterical:

They change their batting order...didnt play Balaji. But I doubt..they will do the same against CSK & MI. Eitherway...KKR are winning those 2 games....:two_thumbs_up:
ensd2 Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 kallis should watch sehwag and gayle to learn how to bat in t20
vvvslaxman Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 kallis should watch sehwag and gayle to learn how to bat in t20 or even Gauti. He should realize you should never let up. He often hits couple of sixes or fours and shuts the shop down until it gets too late. You have to sustain it.
rajmarie Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Andy...please create the 48th match thread between KKR & CSK.
