Has to be sehwag! A lot of players are intimidating when they are in full form; but sehwag, even when he isn't in form, bowlers feel intimidated.

^nope they rae nowhere nbear the class of gayle and viru, so they cant be added in that list. More intimidating than them is tamim iqbal. we are talking abt class here, and not just sloggers u got the point :)

SRT is consistent but not "intimidating". By the way I would add McCullum & Warner in there as well for T20s.
SRT is sure as hell intimidating in ODI's! The only reason I don't have him in the T20 list is 'cause of his SR, which is good but not in the league of Sehwag or Gayle. You must be kidding about Baz and Warner. Yes, Baz has done well in the T20I's, but he is no where near as consistent as Viru/Gayle. And less said about Warner, the better. Even Dilshan is more intimidating than them.

To me "intimidating" means that the bowler is scared of coming in to bowl to you, has no idea where to bowl and knows that if you get it even slightly wrong you will be hit out of the park. Tendulkar is extremely consistent and will get runs against everyone but he doesn't intimidate the way Sehwag, Gayle do or how Jayasuriya used to do in the past. Intimidation is what Sehwag did to Gul in the semis or what Gayle is doing to the bowlers this IPL. I can see bowlers refusing to bowl to Sehwag or Gayle but don't think they dread Tendulkar the same way. Warner & McCullum are not consistent (like Sehwag) but when they are song they are destructive as hell and you wouldn't want to bowl at them when they are well set.

Asif' date='Johnson & Steyn think otherwise[/quote'] Asif can think whatever he can as he's already retired and doesn't Sehwag average 91 against Pakistan? As for Steyn IIRC he bore the brunt of Sehwag when Viru got the fastest triple century against SA :giggle:
