Might have missed a few... you can add.. which is the best?
Sid Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I think there is one more from Yuvi against Poms in 2003,he scored quickfire 40-45 runs. This is the scorecard http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/65262.html

Might have missed a few... you can add.. which is the best? Considering the stakes, the stage of the match, the opponent and most importantly, the quality of bowler that he went after, Jadeja's knock should be way up high above all others. Thank you for the nice thread topic.
maniac Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Nice memories...Good one VVS...Each one of those innings was incredible....I remember More playing another very small cameo against Aus in 1992 in a losing cause as well...It was incredible as it almost snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.Special mention to Manju in that match as well
maniac Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Kapil's cameo against Pak in 1992 as well 35 from 26 balls in a low scoring game
maniac Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/65133.html http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/65129.html
Ultimate_Game Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Nice thread. Jadeja's has to be the best one followed by Tendulkar's onslaught against Pak bowlers in 2003 though that innings wasn't just a "cameo".
Sooda Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Cameos can be bowling performances too of course- M Amarnath 7 0 12 3 1.71 1983 WC final...after the WI top order had been rattled, Dujon and Marshall had a bit of a recovery. And then Jimmy Amarnath worked his wobblers...
singhprakash72 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Kris Srikanth's 39 in 1983 final was vital cameo in context to opposition and occasion .
vvvslaxman Posted May 20, 2011 Author Posted May 20, 2011 Kris Srikanth's 39 in 1983 final was vital cameo in context to opposition and occasion . I was tempted to add. But it was the highest score from both teams
Guest Gunner Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Kris Srikanth's 39 in 1983 final was vital cameo in context to opposition and occasion . I was tempted to add. But it was the highest score from both teams I have to go with this one. But for pure shock and awe value it has to be Jadeja's blitz against the Pakiz. NO one saw that coming.
Sooda Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Azhar with bat and ball vs Aus in 1987 54 of 45 balls and 3 for 19
jairamesh Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 For me since '96, Hard to choose between Jadeja v Pak 1996 and Raina v Aus 2011. I would plump for Raina as it came under the pressure of chasing in situation with a run-a-ball required, and eventually the men in blue went on to lift the WC.
vvvslaxman Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 I know it is not a world cup.. Jaddu's cameo was up there. A genuinely match winning. INfact it is more than a cameo considering it was a T20 game.
