Ram Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 MI just handed CSK an unbelievable life-line. :phehehe: There's HUGE difference in the probability of the occurrence of two successive T20 wins versus 3 successive T20 wins. If you look at past IPL winning streaks, the number of times win streaks of 3 or more have occurred is pretty rare, as opposed to 2 game winning streaks, which are quite common. In a space of that one fateful over from Balaji, CSK's chances in IPL 4 have gone from marginal to solid.
kabira Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 completely agree. Mumbai should have lost that game and kicked out CSK in Mumbai. I don't know why were they so happy. I thought they qualified for CL, and thats why they were jubilant.
