Sid Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Doesn't look great tbh. Dhawan Dropthiv Kohli Badri R Sharma Raina Yuseless Pathan Ashwin Dartby PK Munaf OMG batting looks deadly,ODIs will be painful to watch :(
Cricket Tragic Posted May 27, 2011 Author Posted May 27, 2011 OMG batting looks deadly' date='ODIs will be painful to watch :([/quote'] Atleast Kohli is playing. Something to watch out for in this terrible series. B-> I hope that he doesn't injure himself now. Does the average fan really care about such series and will anyone remember it after it's over? I think that cricket is increasingly becoming about games between India, Aus, Eng and SA. Add SL and Pak for ODIs.

I think that cricket is increasingly becoming about games between India, Aus, Eng and SA. Add SL and Pak for ODIs. thats simply because of this retarded scheduling which has resulted in an overdose of cricket and as a result some fans don't want to watch and some players don't want to play (i.e. they want to rest for such series').
vvvslaxman Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Good' date=' I don't want Tendulkar getting his 100th 100 in front of [b']200 people in the Windies. I'd much rather he got it at at a full house at Lords. you added an extra 0 there :cantstop:
Cricket Tragic Posted May 27, 2011 Author Posted May 27, 2011 SRT wants his hundredth hundred in England and not against WI :hysterical: The Lord's website has already caught onto it. Tendulkar aims for 100th ton at Lord's :cantstop:
Cricket Tragic Posted May 27, 2011 Author Posted May 27, 2011 you added an extra 0 there :cantstop: :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
VRV Singh Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 :wall: :wall: :(( I know man, it's not great. But given we only have Dravid, VVS and Dhoni as the genuine first picks in the top 7 and Kohli set to debut I doubt they will ignore Patel's experience. Tbh I have more hope in PaPa than VJ..
Cricket Tragic Posted May 27, 2011 Author Posted May 27, 2011 Anyone remember the ODI series in 2006? :(( When the media asked Dhoni why he didn't play well, he said that the WI spinners bowled too fast. :cantstop:
Sid Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Anyone remember the ODI series in 2006? :(( When the media asked Dhoni why he didn't play well, he said that the WI spinners bowled too fast. :cantstop: 4-1 ,complete debacle, dont remember this comment though, must be talking about the darts of Gayle and Samuels.

Though I don't necessarily disagree with you, just look at what we've been reduced to...whether Parthiv Patel or Murali Vijay are better options for our Test side :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: The feel good factor after the World Cup/being the no.1 Test side is a distant memory now
rajmarie Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 & JUST IMAGINE if WI selects Hurricane Gayle into the XI :nervous:
Cricket Tragic Posted May 27, 2011 Author Posted May 27, 2011 4-1 ' date='complete debacle, dont remember this comment though, must be talking about the darts of Gayle and Samuels.[/quote'] That was exactly what he was talking about. The batsmen were choked by the 100kph darts from Samuels and Gayle. It was terrible to watch.

Sooda Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I dont think we should care too much about the results in ODI series, just whether the newbies can do ok.
cowboysfan Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I dont think we should care too much about the results in ODI series' date=' just whether the newbies can do ok.[/quote'] I dont agree with this,we should be able to beat them with our B team,we have a lot of youngsters in the team who have a lot to prove and they all have to fail for us to lose this odi series.
King Tendulkar Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I feel so saddned and shocked the Sachin is missing test series. IPL is sickening
Karan114 Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I feel so saddned and shocked the Sachin is missing test series. IPL is sickening He played every single game of the tamasha for two months but he can't be bothered with an away Test series in a place where we have only ever won two Test series.
Guest Gunner Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I don't understand you guys, is your thinking this limited? In the next few months SRT etc is going to retire what are you lot going to do then? Whine and moan like beetches? Here is an opportunity for the youngsters to go there and grab his place, one of them will and he will carry the future for India. That is what a series like this is supposed to be. JEEEZZZZ, Losers...
Sooda Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 In the next few months SRT etc is going to retire ^ maybe thats exactly why we should be seeing him play as much for India- particularly at test cricket- as possible??
