But this isn’t a one-on-one talent-off. It’s a question of who has the right mindset to perform in international cricket at a short notice and it is my judgment that Saurabh Tiwary will be significantly more effective than Rohit, when it comes to winning matches for India in ODIs.

Its just the matter of attitude towards his game, if he can sort that out quickly, he is far better player than what the stats suggests.

How long do we wait for Rohit Sharma to deliver on his talent? He has played 61 matches and has an average of 27 that too the performances against Zimbabwe has inflated it. If we cant perform in Windies against their attack, it should be the final nail in the coffin and he be relegated to second string sides.

That Rohit is perhaps the most giften young batsman in India is beyond doubt, now is the time to convert that potential into consistent performances for Team India.
