yoda Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Yes I have heard that Bala is a good director although I've never seen any of his movies. I really love the song "Pichai Paathiram" from the movie "Naan Kadavul". One of the top songs, although the scenes are rather disturbing.

Even if you didn't like his Pithamagan, Naan Kadavul and the under-rated Nanda, you'll still like Seethu. It was well ahead of its time and a true masterpiece. You wouldn't realize that it was his directorial debut. A clean knitted movie, "if ever there was one" I have seen Sethu - the one that made Vikram famous. It is a very good movie. Didn't know who the director was.

But he is a damn fine director and i've somehow pulled in to watch a couple of his other movies as well. You got to hand it to the guy for staying in the business by making movies about people the society usually ignores.
