London: The British press reported on Sunday that English spinner of Indian origin - Monty Panesar - had been arrested in January following a public spat with his wife Gursharan Rattan in London. The Daily Mail reported that the London police had received a call from a member of the public when the Panesar's were found arguing in the parking lot of a pub. The newspaper further claimed that the Berdforshire police had confirmed arresting a 29-year-old man on charges of possible assault on January 22 and that he was questioned but later released without charge. 28-year-old Rattan is a graduate in pharmaceutical science and lives with the cricketer in their home in East Sussex. The two married in February 2010. A spokesperson for Panesar has confirmed that the cricketer had indeed been at a police station in January but did not divulge any further details. montymask_narrowweb__300x435,0.jpg

I know. It is a bit crazy. I know some one who was taken to police station because her relative complained that this chap had a spat with her wife. The poor chap wasnt even at the home at the time. He later told us that in fact a couple of days back he had told same relative that she isnt welcomed at her home.
