Cricket Tragic Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 We are told that there are still lots of people living in poverty in India, but poverty does not normally mean with computors:hysterical: So I will take your post as a funny Tip 1: Stop reading the Daily Fail.
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Ahh... I see because you politician and your media saying.... You will believe that we can afford that gadget..... I thought you had your "own opinion" :hatsoff: So To put very simply dont you think that millions or probably some day billions paid to DRS by BCCI can be actually used by India to develop professional cricket at grass root level and professional umpires.......? So you are saying that Indian cricket can afford millions on a single player in the IPL, but cannot afford the gadget:blink:
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Tip 1: Stop reading the Daily Fail. Tip 2 Stop assuming I read the Mail, when I read the Times Tip 3 Stop being so sensitive, it is only a bloody game....... That we invented
Cricket Tragic Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Tip 2 Stop assuming I read the Mail, when I read the Times Tip 3 Stop being so sensitive, it is only a bloody game....... That we invented Says the person who brings in issues like foreign aid into a cricketing discussion. :cantstop:

wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Says the person who brings in issues like foreign aid into a cricketing discussion. :cantstop: When someone posts that all English people are 'Dickheads', I think they need reminding that so self same 'Dickheads' give millions to Indias poor every year
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Finally you got it... B-> Yes.... Gadget is not worth it.... Only because you think it will cost you wickets
Cricket Tragic Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 When someone posts that all English people are 'Dickheads'' date=' I think they need reminding that so self same 'Dickheads' give millions to Indias poor every year[/quote'] It someone posts rubbish, report the post or ignore it. Bringing up irrelevant topics is not the answer.
mishra Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 When someone posts that all English people are 'Dickheads'' date=' I think they need reminding that so self same 'Dickheads' give millions to Indias poor every year[/quote'] That doesnt mean that you turn into one :haha:
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 That doesnt mean that you turn into one :haha: No, but it is an example of how aggressive you guys are on here to new posters. Calling them dickheads and saying whole nations are dickheads. If we the English even slightly criticesed your team, you act like we fired a nuke at you
wobblydoggy Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 It someone posts rubbish' date=' report the post or ignore it. Bringing up irrelevant topics is not the answer.[/quote'] I have found the greeting here incredibly hostile. Such a shame as all the Indians I have met in England have been very nice. I will see how it goes, but if insults is all I am going to get, I will post elsewhere

If we the English even slightly criticesed your team, you act like we fired a nuke at you Man I have been banned during my first week... On another thread on the same page I am beeing mocked as imposter( Pakistani)... So thats the way it is here.... Its just our way....... No hard feelings... Casual attitude

Stick around for a while since it would be good to have an England supporter during the series. If you're on the forum for a while, the other posters will take you more seriously.

Other boards I am on are very hospitable to new members
vvvslaxman Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Graham Swan is making much of India's refusal to embrace technology to assist umpiring in the forthcoming test series. Personally I think that umpires are more likely to give out batsmen on the front foot now. However, does not India refusing, unlike most of the rest of the world, to use the technology smack of fear that it might cause their unseating as No 1 in the world? Discuss One team that is very good at stepping out and playing to spinners is India. They would be the last team that is worried about "frontfoot" leg before.
Cricket Tragic Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 It's pretty much the same in the ones I've seen. Atleast the mods here are lenient and allow people from other countries to post what they want. In another forum, you're banned if you say anything against the team. So you have Indian posters who hype the other team and actually play down our achievements.

For instance they are going to drop Prior from the one day team, which I think is madness. I would have dropped KP ages ago, like they did bell

Not sure why Davies was dropped in Australia. He has been an outstanding player in domestic limited overs cricket (one of the best in England) and didn't do too badly for England in the limited opportunities that he got.
