But he's got no international experience and not sure how much he has toured with the 'A' side (I know he was on the England tour last year but don't know more than that), so probably best not to expect too much. I think Parthiv will open with Vijay, anyway.

Don't give us a clear picture of who is good who is bad anymore. Look at Dhoni. He is from a team that belongs to plate division. I think we should pay more attention India A tours . I think that gives a better picture . Can he translate that into runs , we will have to wait and see.

Or his strike rate in the league might have been lower than legends like Pathan and Pollard.

Obviously, international bowling will be a big step up from what he's used to facing and of course greater pressure, but interesting to see how he gets on.

I would definitely like to have Rohit Sharma in test matches as a middle order batsman's spot!!!!! In fact it is a shame if he cannot make it to the test team ASAP!!! *Unless off course other people present ahead of him perform very well...
